1998 Honda Civic Question: Is replacing rear control arm bushings same as ball joint replacement?

I have a 1998 Honda Civic LX and was told by dealership that rear control arm bushings needed to be replaced. Was trying to lookup estimated cost for this type of repair on repairpal but it was not listed. Thought it might be same as ball joints.

No the rear control arm bushings are close to the front of the rear control arm, and attach to the subframe/body of the car, it is what the control arms pivot on, this is a common repair on this vehicle. I would go with genuine Honda bushings, they will last the longest..

Thanks for your response! What is a reasonable cost for this repair?
