Buick Q&AAsk Your Question
1999 Buick Regal Question: Is my car worth repair?
Answer #1rpclements March 11, 2013, 15:52Journeyman
If car is in good shape yes. Well if you got good connections for repair on your end. I get discounts for parts and service near my work really cheap with all competition. If not ask friends and family and maybe can find someone honest that will do for real reasonable price.

Anyone hurt in the accident? Any other damage to the vehicle?

No...daughter hit parked car and curb..
Only her pride!...she got someone she said to fix it but a frame if welded really is not going to be that strong. Afraid for her to drive it. Most insurance companies would provably total it if I had full coverage.

Well that's the main thing, that she wasn't hurt! May be able to pick up another car for a deal and be better off. Have a mechanic look at it.

Any idea what cost might run ....especially for the A frame and broken axle?
Replypushrod, March 11, 2013, 19:35Master
Check with salvage yard, that will be the best price. Dont know how much though. As long as the sub frame is ok it should be ok for repair but still get a mech. to check it out.

She did...he said he coukd fix it but A frame is sitting on the ground and like I said the wheel is attached to car by brake line only....looks like dental floss holding it to car. I'm just not comfortable that it will be safe anymore. She wants to get it fixed however and its her car. Thanks girl info and opinion.
