Question: Is it worth cost to get new frame?

 Rookie

Son had accident and Frame is broke near front driver side tire. What would cost of new frame be and is it worth repairing or just sell car for parts? 2005 Black Taurus with approx 110K miles.

    If you are talking about the sub frame it is not too expensive from a yunk yard. It takes a few hours to replace it. I dont think the whole thing would cost more than $1000-1300. You decide.

    I believe it is the sub frame. My son hit a short median just right and the frame on both sides is broke near the front tires. Not sure if he damaged the radiator or not, but someone said that something was leaking from the engine area.
