Question: Is it possible to ruin the bearing hub and speed sensor with a bad bearing?

The speedometer was working fine when I drove to the dealership. and their diagnosis is I need to replace the hub also.I had no information lights going off on the dash.

    YES IT IS POSSIBLE PUT YOU CAN BUY A COMPLETE HUB ASM AFTER MARKET THAT COMES WITH BEARINGS HUB AND SENSOR FOR APPROX 300.00

    Thanks for the info. Should all the labor be included in changing the speed sensor along with the wheel bearring and hub? As it is all in the same procedure as replacing the bearring.
