Question: IS IT MY EGR VALVE???

 Rookie

i can put 20 dollers n my gas tank n it will barly eve put the gas hand to a quter of a tank?? people tell me its my egr valve but is it or not??

    No it isn't. The EGR valve, has nothing to do with how your gas hand reads. It is a exhaust gas recycling valve. It is part of the engine emission system.

    Honestly - $20 worth of gas is about 5 gallons these days, which is 1/3 of your 15.4 gallon tank. How far off do you figure it is? A sending unit issue could be present, or a wiring issue.
