2001 Nissan Pathfinder Question: is it hard to take out the front seats to clean the carpet?

 Rookie

the center console between the seats removed would make cleaning even easier. is this not advised or is it easy out and back in?

    It's easy to remove a driver or passenger front seat. I'm not sure what is holdin in your seats but there is usually bolts/fastners at each corner of the seat. You may only have two at the front, or only two at the rear, or you may have one at each corner. They are always bolted to the floor and may have a cover over them making it hard to see the retainer.
