1994 Mercedes-Benz C280 Question: intermittent turn signals
Answer #1matte May 12, 2009, 19:04Master
I had this problem in a newer Mercedes C class. For me, the problem was completely intermittent, and I took it in (under warranty, lucky for me), and the turn signal module had to be replaced.
Even though your car is a bit older, it sounds like the same problem, because your symptoms are exactly what mine were. I don't know how much it would cost though! Sorry!

It could be the turn signal module or the switch. Take it in.

I removed the module, took the plastic housing off and inspected the pcb, noticed several bad solder joints mainly around the relays. I resoldered them, at least 3 times before I got all of them, haven't had a problem since. I'm going to buy another one asap however.
