intermittent turn signals on 1994 Mercedes-Benz C280

turn signals are intermittent. they will work when the car is first started most of the time but after driving for awhile they stop.

I had this problem in a newer Mercedes C class. For me, the problem was completely intermittent, and I took it in (under warranty, lucky for me), and the turn signal module had to be replaced. Even though your car is a bit older, it sounds like the same problem, because your symptoms are exactly what mine were. I don't know how much it would cost though! Sorry!

It could be the turn signal module or the switch. Take it in.

I removed the module, took the plastic housing off and inspected the pcb, noticed several bad solder joints mainly around the relays. I resoldered them, at least 3 times before I got all of them, haven't had a problem since. I'm going to buy another one asap however.
