Intermittent power loss for AC/Heat, GPS and clock. Also having problems with the side view mirrors and not sure if connected to first problem. Comes back on anytime it wants from 1 hr to 3 days. Cannot get it to the dealer in-time before it works again and they cannot fix what is not broke.

2004 Lexus RX330 Question: Intermittent loss of power to heating/AC, GPS, clock.

Theses are especially tough. The way I would approach this is to find the wiring that goes to the A/C/Heat, GPS and Clock and then inspect the connections and grounds for looseness or any unusual signs, as well as pulling on the wiring to see if I could duplicate the problem.
How about going to a good Independent Shop that works on Lexus?
I have worked in several Dealerships and not all of their Techs are the best in the field.

Have not figured out how to answer my problem with found solution which was - replace the battery. The battery was one year old and bad. Wal-Mart brought out their super tester and it said "replace battery". This replacement also fixed the side view mirror problem. Never had confidence a new battery could be bad, but it was a start. I drove from Colorado Spgs CO to Raleigh where I am now and did not like the obvious idea of driving back and the heating/AC going out.
Thanks for your input.
