Interior lights, turn signals on dash not working on 2005 Nissan Altima

When I turn on my blinker the menu on the dash scrolls and the turn signal indicators don't light up but the lights outside work. Also noticed the glove box light and vanity lights in the visors don't work either. Can all these be related? I didn't find any bad fuses under the hood or in the fuse box inside the car

Sounds like a feed back issue, check grounds, battery, engine, body grounds.

I'll have to wait a couple days to get time to check all the grounds. The previous owner installed a different radio and it picks up serious engine noise so I know it has a bad ground some place. I'm wondering if the aftermarket stereo or improper installation of said stereo could be causing some of my problems as well.

Disconnect the stereo and see if it quits.

Mine does the same thing after an aftermarket stereo was installed! I dont know how to fix it!

If stereo installation caused the issue must be the install. Did you use the adapter install kit. It should be available and easier.
