Question: Interior lights has short ,blows fuse

The fuse controls side mirrors and interior lights.I can use head light switch to shut off interior lights and mirror controls work fine.When I turn the interior lights back on but not all the way to on position and doors closed it blows fuse.I was going to disconnect all the door switches but having hard time locating the ones for the front doors.It does use standard type switch and not behind rubber door seal.Any sugggestions could help.Thanks,Al.

    The Driver and Passenger Door Ajar Switches are integrated into the Door Latch assembly. The Central Timer Module (CTM) drives the lamps when input from the switches is received. Inspect fuse #4 of the Relay/Fuse Block for an open.
    POSSIBLE CAUSES
    COURTESY LAMP SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
    COURTESY LAMP DRIVER CIRCUIT OPEN (TO LAMPS)
    FUSE OPEN TEST
    FUSED B+ CIRCUIT OPEN
    ALL COURTESY/DOME LAMP BULBS OPEN
    CTM-COURTESY LAMP DRIVER CIRCUIT OPEN

    The #4 fuse is the fuse that blows.I figured out the door lack assembly was the switch for the front doors.I disconnect the plug for mirrors ,door latch switches,door push button switches,dome lights,glove box light ,under hood light,headlight switch.The # 4 fuse is o.k. If I take a jumper across the switch plug,which is the two red wires for the headlight dome switch it will blow that # 4 fuse.I'm thinking there is a short somewhere with one or both red wires.If you have different thoughts or think I might be on the right track let me know.Thanks for your time.Al.
