Our check engine light came on and the code read it was the vaccum cut valve i believe. Nissan gave us the part which was a bit expensive but soon after the light came on again and read the same code. Nissan wont take the part back because it was installed but it obviously didnt fix the problem. What is the issue? The part is not faulty so i cant figure out what it could be. Nissan is the ones who told us this was the issue and the part would fix it.

There is no specific code for an intake valve. Installing an intake valve would require removing the cylinder head and disassemble of the valve spring and valve collet retainer.
Was it a evaperative emission control valve? What was the code set it would look like "P0420" or P1234" .
