Anyone got a suggestion on how to change the worn out trunk shocks? I have the new ones and can't seem to compress them enough to get the on?

most likely if you cant compress them enough to get them on you have shocks that are too long for your deck lid. ie wrong parts.

open your roof halfway. Stop it where the trunk is partially opened and the roof is halfway back, but balanced so it won't fall forward or back. When your car is in this weird, halfway transformed position, you can pop out those hydraulic trunk struts no problem.
