Installed new compressor,vacume tested held 30 inHQ.CLUTCH will not pull-in?? on 2000 Plymouth Breeze

removal & installation done by chiltons manual total evacuation of system.All checks & balances OK. unsure if their's a low or hi pres swith that needs jumpered to pull in clutch or what else needs to be done to allow charging of system? unable to find answers.

at this point there could be several issues causing no operation. you may want to seek help to get recharged or ck'd. you have done most of the work so it should be fairly cheap unless you had a diff issue to start with

How are you charging it? if you are charging it right, maybe the low pressure switch is inoperative.
