Question: installed new battery, now auto trunk opener will not work when I pull on latch

works with key or from inside but will not open by use of latch

    why would the acuater go just cause I put in a new battery?? why would that not have been a problem before leading up to the battery change. It was immediatly after. I really think I just need to bring it in and get the computer reset, which takes about 1 minute. I need some reason why you are saying this, thanks.
