2004 Mercedes-Benz S430 Question: Inside Passage Door Handle Light

My inside passage door handle light stays on when you turn the headlights on at night.When you turn the vehicle off it will go out,not a very bright light but it not common to driver with the door handle light shining, all other door are out. This is a 2004 s430

    Hello,
    Sorry to see you didn't get some help with this. Were you able to figure out the problem with the door handle light? Was there a bad door switch or door module?

    I have a 2004 S600 and i have the same issue. the lights in the door handles of the passenger side are on, not on teh drivers side. I thought it is a setting somewhere. As opposed to you I want all 4 door handle lights to be on. They look so pretty and do nto disturn be the least (in town).
