The interior front door pulls broke loose from one end of the handle.
I used epoxy glue to re-attach the pulls.
It worked well. It was much cheaper than replacing the pull.
Handles look like garbage...
Front interior door pulls have changed color from grey to lt blue
Both driver door and front passenger door handles broke at about 48k. Center console cover and handles lose color when cleaned. Horrible interior trim quality in general. Will never purchase another MB - quality is awful and maintenance cost is worse. Prvious two Infinitis were far superior.
Both driver and passenger side handles broke at top at about 80,000 miles. The passenger side broke first, and that door is hardly ever used! My husband used gorilla glue and that worked.
Driver side first then passenger side - top/front first with both - now the driver side on the bottom.
door handles have came off
Same problem. Delaminated and broken where the handle attaches towords front. Both sides.
I believe it is a design flaw with the inside grab door handle pulled out of it's socket.
Just bought it at 36K miles and passenger grab handles comes out I glued and used screw from underneath hope it holds
Passenger inside door pull broke lose at top, handle completely broke off at approx. 90Kmi. This car has also had many of the other frequently reported problems on this forum. NEVER again will buy a MB. Just wow!
door handles keep coming off at top side on both driver and front passenger side. Took to car dealership where it was glued back in. Still comes off after some time, so had the door handle replaced. They had to take door panel apart.
Both door handles on the drivers and passenger side have broken off. I have a friend who has the same model but it's a 2010 and she had the same issue. I have a 1998 Lincoln Continental with over 200K miles that has less issues!
DIY repair - both front grab handles broke on the bottom mounting point and bought new one's from dealership. New parts seem to be updated with longer mounting points. To early to tell if it will delaminate again.
86k and car is falling apart, should have stuck with the Audi
Inside grab handles came a part
had to replace both...$100.00.
lEAVE IT AS IS AND UPDATE THE CAR
