1994 Chevrolet 2500 Pickup Question: Information on heater core replacement procedure
Answer #1ProChevy September 01, 2009, 19:18Journeyman
After removing the instrument panel storage box, center lower air duct, blower motor, windsheild hinge pillar trim pads, lowering/or completely removing the steering column, only then can the entire instrument carrier panel be taken loose and rotated down and back to access the heater core. This is a big job, not one I would recommend doing in the driveway.

How much $ are we talking? It is a 1994 1/2ton GMC worth $5K on a good day!
