Direct Adaptive Steering System Malfunctions

The direct adaptive steering system may malfunction and affect the responsiveness and turning radius of the steering. Dealers will reprogram the direct adaptive steering electronic control unit software free of charge to resolve the concern.

The Vehicle May Stall

Due to a software issue, the electric motor may stop while the vehicle is being driven in the electric motor only mode. The stall-like condition that occurs would increase the risk of a crash. Infiniti dealers will reprogram the motor inverter software to correct the concern.

Engine May Lose Power Or Accelerate On Its Own

A engine control module (ECM) may temporarily lose a signal from one of the engine management system's throttle position sensors (TPS). If this occurs, loss of power followed by sudden unintended acceleration can occur. Dealers will reprogram the ECM free of charge to correct the problem.
