Infiniti QX56 Recall 12V069000
Fuel Leak from Fuel Pressure Sensor
A fuel leak may develop at the fuel pressure sensor. Fuel leaks always increase the risk of a fire.
Nissan will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning March 19, 2012. If you are experiencing a fuel smell, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It’s helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
On certain vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor may not have been tightened to the correct specification. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor may loosen due to heat and vibration, causing a fuel leak. Fuel leaks always increase the risk of a fire. Dealers will replace the fuel pressure sensor to correct this concern.
