I bought a car for my 16 year old daughter. She was so excited to start the road to being an independent adult with her own car. She wanted to handle everything concerning it. It made me proud. She paid for insurance for it and took the vehicle to Independence Complete Auto Service for the inspection. We didn't expect the car to pass right away being a used car and she wanted a place to go that she could trust. Well, it didn't pass. The drivers side mirror was broken and they gave her an estimate for the repair: $68.75 for the part and $75 labor for a total of 143.75 to fix the mirror. She came home and showed me the slip and started crying because a simple thing like a side view mirror costs so much. I assured her that we were not going to spend that much for a mirror and I would help her. I went down to Pick and Pull, spent 5 min looking for and removing the part and spent about a min installing the part. She paid me $5 but the hugs, kisses and total happiness from my daughter was worth millions. The moral of the story is: Trust is something that is earned.

As a repair shop, it is our legal and moral obligation to inspect all vehicles in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri. Our repair shops have a reputation of honesty, integrity and using quality parts when we perform repairs. The price of $143.75 to repair this mirror, a new OE quality mirror, is a competitive price. If a customer wants to buy parts from a junk yard to repair a vehicle, that is like comparing apples to oranges, it is also humanly impossible to change a side mirror in 1 minute. The moral of the story is: You get what you pay for; before passing judgement, check to see if the price was fair?

Honest mechanics with prices that fell within the repair pal range. Our water pump even came with a nationwide warranty! This is my new hometown shop!

Excellent service, I found these guys on repair pal and man I'm glad I did. Not only did their price meet my expectation, their mechanic went out of his way to show me what was wrong with my car. The manager also told me that they have another shop in town that will honor my warantee! This is a good business!
