Jaguar S-Type Improved Coolant Hoses Available to Withstand Cooling System Pressure

(8 reports)

Improved coolant hoses that are able to withstand cooling system pressure are available (Jaguar Service Bulletin S518). These improved hoses help avoid engine overheating by preventing the coolant hose from inadvertently detaching from the engine.

Heating coolant hose from upper reservoir broke off from the attachment to the engine. Overheated and had to tow car. Was on way to Grand Canyon. -
