At certain times the engile will idle at high rate in park or neutral but will subside when shifted into reverse or drive what could b the reason for this?

    Probable cause for high Idle condition could be caused by a Vacuum leaks, Improperly adjusted Idle speed screw, weak/ bad Idle speed control motor, Carbon build up on throttle body. You should have your local Repair shop perform a Diagnostic for high Idle condition as it may require special tools and Equipment for testing some electrical components.
