  I've taken all my cars here since 1994. Volkswagen, Volvo, Toyota & Mercedes. They know their cars and will go through a thorough review with you and show you exactly what is going on, what can wait & what needs to be done. I've built a good relationship with them and feel like they go out of their way to accommodate me and our growing family (ie, they fixed my sunroof for free as a baby shower gift) When I call they usually will see me right away if it's a safety concern. I highly recommend them!

  I took my Forester to these guys last month. I'm a college student so I'm on a budget and my car had a lot of little (a few bigger)issues. They gladly put a list together of all the things my car needed, priorotized them and priced them out for me. They let me pick and choose which items to fix now and which later. The price for each was also far cheaper than other places had quoted me - goes to show, go local, family owned instead of chain/corporate. The car is running great and they even did little things like stopping the rattling from the back, replacing a tail light, etc, without charging me. As soon as I graduate next month I'm going to get the rest of the items fixed.

  A lot of hoops to jump to write a review but stuck with it because i love this auto repair shop. Always get a great welcome and i have been totally satisfied with the repair job and the price. Outstanding is the word that comes to mind.

  Import Specialists has serviced my cars for over 20 years. I wouldn't even consider taking my cars anywhere else. They are friendly, flexible, and above all, honest. They inform me of what I need, what they are watching, and what I don't need. They are the experts!

  Import Specialists is much more than a repair shop for me. I've been taking cars there for 20 years. The staff are courteous and competent. I especially appreciate their care in explaining what is going on with my car, what the repair entails, and a straight estimate of the costs. (And I always receive a call if the costs appear to be higher than estimated--I get to choose how much I spend.)
  They are really good at preventive maintenance, letting me know when certain work should be done, or (even better) letting me know that something will need to be replaced in the future, but not right now. This allows me to budget for future maintenance and repairs.
  My husband and I own a 2000 Mazda truck and two Toyotas, one is an '88 and the other is a 2004. I drive a steep canyon and tough mountain roads daily, and none of our vehicles have ever failed us in our commutes or travel. If you want a reliable, honest repair job, or a shop that will keep your vehicle running well for years, take it to Import Specialists. (They also have a very comfortable waiting area, with coffee, tea, candy, and comfy chairs.)
