Question: immobilizer system

what would cause the Key light to NOT come on & the car won't start? It cranks ok, dosen't seem to have any injector pulse.

    if you have another key, try that first. most newer cars
    have keys that contain a security recognition chip. would suggest finding a local Japanese specialty shop to diagnose further. you've probably done as much as you can.
