Hi, were you able to get this resolved? Was it the immobilizer? Did your engine crank over or not? thx

I am having the same problem with a 2004 MDX. To replace the key and reprogram through a dealer is a minimum of $150. There are aftermarket immobilizer bypass modules for $30-$45 available on line and for use with remote starters. Will this solve the problem at a cost savings or is this a dealer only fix? AND, will this be a reoccuring problem or will the replaced keys and reprogramming solve the issue?
