They love Porsches in particular, and cars in general which is backed up with a tremendous amount of racing/race car building experience. I have two Porsches, one old and one not so old-- I take the older one in for routine service and problems, and I take the newer one in for service plus limited upgrades. I will spend money on my cars if I think that it is necessary, and they have the opportunity to recommend and perform upgrades well beyond what we have ended up doing. If it was just about money, they could have made a lot more by going ahead doing some of the ones I have asked about, not to mention recommending others--they have repeatedly waved me off a number of things I have asked about and suggested alternatives that are more appropriate and cost effectve. They are in it for the long term. Additionally, I live in DC and it is very difficult for me to get out to Chantilly--it is futile during rush hour, and they do back flips to accommodate my scheduling needs. One time, one of their mechanics stayed well into the evening installing an original type sound system in my old Porsche plus performing other maintenance so I could drive it to my college reunion. Sure, they need to make money, but they really care about the cars.
