I am not sure what happened it went in as it wouldn't go into reverse any more then I get it back & it wouldn't go into Drive or reverse it is a rather expensive repair I paid for the repair & like I said I got it back & the problem got worse should I have to pay for it again or should my initial payment cover it since the problem hadn't resolved & is this a known issue for this particular make/model and year of Mercedes Benz's?

If you went to your repairer/dealer for a concern and gotten it fixed, paid and got the car back with the same concern. Out of integrity on the repairers/dealers part, You shouldn't cover any expense and have your repair/dealer have the problem repaired properly. As far as recalls you can search this online or call your local MB dealer and provide your vin number to see if your vehicle is eligible for any kind of recalls.
