Question: Ignition wont cut off

IluvmyBlazer, 5.7L V8, Thomasville, NC, August 25, 2009, 05:22
 Rookie

Ok I went to the grocery store and when I came home and tried to turn my car off the key wont turn. I have tried everything I know to do. I had to unplug the battery and let the alternator die out for it to cut off. Someone PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Could be as simple as the key itself. Do you have another key to try? If that's not it I would think the lock cylinder tumblers have come apart not letting it unlock to turn. Good Luck
