The last little turn to crank the ignition and something broke.. now i can turn the key all the way back and pull it out and the car is still in aux. mode.. the key turns more freely and gives no response. what needs replacin?

The mechanical part of the ignition switch has failed, the switch is not too difficult to remove once the key still turns in the ignition lock.

There are two companies that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers.
