Question: Ignition key in the car wont turn.

I went to start my car my steering wheel was locked. so i sticked the key into the ignition and tried to turn it over but is was locked and wouldn't start.

MasterSometimes, when the steering wheel is under extreme tension when it locks, the tension keeps you from being able to turn that key. The way to get around that is to kind of take one hand and shake the wheel back and forth while trying to turn they key, or grasp the wheel and pull it just off the lock it is resting on. Then the key will free up...only while you hold the wheel off the lock.
One of those things easier to physically show you than it is to type!
