When I turn the ingnition nothing happens but when I jump the selonoid the engine will start, what is wrong?

    You may have a bad ignition switch, wiring, ignition key, security system...hard to say without performing a proper diagnosis. Start by tracing the signal wire from the ignition switch to the solenoid and see why it's not getting a signal.
