Question
Hi How are you? Please help me as I think I am being over charged. I had a mechanic change the ignition coils on my 2002 Lincoln and they are charging me $102.56 x 6 coils. From what I can see the coils come in a set of six.
Please help me and advise if I am being over charged
Answer #1
They don't come in sets of six and $102 is about the average price of those coils

$615 installed? what about labor?
Answer #2
Ok, thank you for the information. So you do think $615.36 is a fair price?
Thanks again for your quick reply.
Answer #3
Thank you so much, I appreciate your quick reply.
Can you advise if $615.36 is a fair price?
Answer #4
I think that's a great price. The part itself can be $50 to $75 and they are not easy to get at. I advise changing them all at once. The labor is in removing and replacing the cover. The rest is easy.
