I have an intermitant problem with 98 camry. Car looses power, rough idle & stalls (can keep it from stalling if I notice it's about to stall and keep foot on the accelerator). Happened twice in 10 days. The problem disappears and I've driven over 500 miles between episodes withou a problem. Could it be a coil pack about to go? What's your best guess?

We don't like to guess as to what "might" be causing the problem. We promote diagnosing problems to determine the cause, and that is what you should do. This forum is littered with people who replace a bunch of parts and never fix the problem. Be smart, don't be one of those people, pay for a professional to diagnose this for you.
