if in fact it is the coil. you need the code for the cylinder missfiring and need to eliminate the plug and wire before looking at the coil. Roy - mastertech6371
Your engine is a V6 that shares a coil per two cylinders (3 coils total). A scan tool is needed to verify which cylinder is experiencing a miss fire ie a code P0301 is cyl 1 mis fire, P0302 is cyl 2 misfire, P0303 is cylinder 3 misfire ect..... Roy is right mis fire could be due to other things an injector not firing a vacuum leak, a plug or plug wire. - patrick mannion
