ignition broke on 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse

I broke the key in the switch then broke the switch trying to get it out. How much to replace and do I have to do any computer stuff with the new key.

A new lock assembly is about $250 and is about 1.5 hours to replace. I don't know about locksmiths in your area but locksmiths around us are a cheap alternative many will come out to your house remove the lock assembly and re- key it or repair it. For lock removal instructions There is a company that independent auto repair shops buy their information from that the same information inexpensively to do it yourselfers.
