 Rookie

when starting the car the green key light will come on and the car will start, sometimes the light does not come on, is this do to a program issue with the key

  If it works sometimes then the programming is probably ok. I would try another key if you have one. If that doesn't fix it then it will need to be checked out by someone familiar with the diagnosis of this system.
