2008 Chrysler Sebring Question: IF MY POWER STEERING PUMP NEEDS REPLACING WILL THAT DRAIN MY BATTERY

 Rookie

MY PUMPS ON ORDER I STILL NEED TO DRIVE MY CAR AND NOW MY BATTERY WENT DEAD. INSTALLED A NEW ONE AND DROVE FOR ONE DAY THEN MY CAR TROTTLE LIGHT AND MY ABS LIGHT TURNED ON. THEN THE CAR WENT DEAD?

    The power steering pump should not cause the battery to go dead. It sounds like you have a charging system issue, as one of the things that causes warning lights to come on and then the vehicle to die is an alternator that isn't strong enough to keep it all going. Have a test done after having the battery charged.

    i wouldnt worry about any lights til electrical system is working right
