    Yes! Doing so usually causes extensive damage to the electrical system. Depending on the severity of the damage, you may want to get your car insurance agent involved.

    thanks. I asked because Toyota insisted it would only blow some fuse behind the fuse box I think they said it was a 140amp. doyou think a $450 charge was about right
