Question: Idles and runs rough, makes a clanking noise under the hood

My new driver (Son) likes to jump on the gas to accelerate up to the speed limit. Today after he did that a few times it started to run rough and make a clanking noise under the hood. It seems like it wants to stall when going around a corner. What do you think?

MasterHave a shop check this before further damage is done www.repairpal.com/directory as its hard to know what is clanking
