my car rev to about 2000 rpm when in park and when i drive and stop at a red light it wants to keep moving what do i need to do to fix this

    You should check to see if the throttle cable and throttle body are adjusted properly, check for vacuum leaks and verify the idle valve is working properly.

    Maybe you should press the brakes. sometimes it stops vehicles.
