I was quoted $725 for a complete tune up at a Ford dealership. Is that too much? on 2002 Mercury Sable

I was just charged $465 for an oil change and replacing the starter. I want to know if I'm being charged too much at this dealership.

for some reason the ford dealerships are infamous for over charging for services to vehicles. they make a great product but charge out the ass for work. i would seriously shop around for a more cost effective shop. cut your losses and move on.

"Tune-up" is a term that is used broadly. There are several services that fall into this category. Normally, the dealers are agressively priced on their maintenance services. Sometimes they do recommend unnecessary repairs, while you are in for service. We would be glad to look at your vehicle, to offer a second opinion. Google us! RC Auto Specialists
