Question: I think my transmission is going out

I was driving my car and all of a sudden I started slowing down but my rpm were high I was going 10 miles and rmp was showing 40 or 50. cound it be a sensor?

  nope sounds internal if it is an automatic. if it is a stick, then it may be a clutch failure.
