I smell gasoline strongly in my car. Its more strong when I park in the garage. on 1997 Mercedes-Benz E320

I purchased gas about a week ago. Could that be the Problem why I am smelling gas in the car? Would needing an exhaust system be one of the problems?

Probably from your evaporative emissions system- gasoline vapors get pulled up and burned in engine. Do you have a check engine light on? usually when that happens your computer recognizes the leak. Could simply be hose or maybe your purge valve or charcoal canister. Check around near your fuel rail (where injectors run) and make sure not raw fuel leak somewhere or you could have dangerous fire. This could be serious!
