2003 Jaguar S-Type Question: I need to remove the plastic cover on my valve covers . How do I do this?

I don't want to brake it , but if I know it pops off I wont worry . TY

    If this is a problem what else are you planning to do? I mean no disrespect but maybe you need to get someone to give you a hand here. In person! I dont know your skill level but dont attempt anything you are not sure you can do.

    Thank you . if I didn't think I could do the task, I wouldn't be asking the question. I did a diagnostic with a hand held . no I need to check the plugs to find out if it is ,valve gasket ,or coil /sparkplug . I will figure it out my self . But it would be nice to get an answer . The right spot to pry it , or some thing I am missing ? It feels like it will pop off. But it is a Jaguar . So I must respect it .

    As with 'any' automobile!! Hope you get it fixed. Perhaps a repeir manual purchase is your best bet. Pictures and instructions!

    BFH and a pry bar has got to work!! Go in the kitchen and sneak a couple of butter knives out and lift the cover off using them in unison top and bottom, dont get in a hurry! If you break it, cant say i didn't warn you! Some have fasteners but not sure what yours has!! 93 S-Type..,
