a code never identifies a bad part, just a failed system. a good shop will do a proper diag and find the failure without guessing. what codes did they find?? Roy

there are no codes for those numbers. go to autozone or pepboys for a free code pull and verify those codes for us. Roy

are you sure it is a 96?? thats obd2 and any code reader will work. if it is a 95, then you need a shop with an older scan tool. Roy

I think the codes you may have are P0216 Injector/Injection Timing Control Circuit P0236 Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor “A” Circuit Range/Performance P0114 Intake Air Temperature Circuit Intermittent P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High Input There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online
