I have never had a major repair on this vehicle, have had timing belt replaced (last at 120K), and do have rear disc brakes; I also have one of the cars that needs one of the valves flushed every few years to stop the start/stall issue. I need guidance about what to check for at my 150,000 mile service. Thanks!

    Use the RepaiirPrice Estimator http://repairpal.com/estimator?car_type_id=1880
Select the Service Type 150,000 Mile Service.
You'll get an estimate customized for your location.

thanks- I didn't know that feature was on this site! I wasn't looking as much for price as I was for items to have them check that are not on the standard toyota list, some other 96 camry q&a's have mentioned issues that start around 120-150k miles- i was wondering if there is anything else that should be checked too.

There is pretty good information on the RepairPal Auto Repair Encyclopedia about Schedule Maintenance Repairs and Services, check the 150,000 Mile Service article; http://repairpal.com/150000-mile-service

Also it will be a good idea to know the 1996 Toyota Camry Common Problems and where to pay attention here; http://repairpal.com/toyota-camry-1996/common_problems
