Question: i need an engine reseal should i make the repairs or look for another car

Rookie

I bouught the car for 2500 a year ago and i put a new alternator, valve cover gasket, oil change, tune up with wires into car. Is it worth spending 1800 more for complete engine reseal or get rid of it?

I would not do a re-seal, I would replace the engine with a quality used engine with low miles. The cost of that would be between 1500.00 to 2000.00 or replace with a quality Jasper engine 3yr - 100,000 mile warranty for between 2500.00 to 3300.00
