Question: i just put gas in my car got in car and motor died

i had low fuel, i put gas in my car (left engine running) got in car and the engine supperted like running out of gas, engine died and when i try to crank it sounds like it is out of gas?

    The fuel pump needs fuel to lubricate the pump. Have the fuel pressure checked, you may have damaged the pump by allowing it to run low on fuel.
