that resulted in car ASR light coming on in dash and car ran irraticly then i used power probe 3 tool to test n power up wire behind drivers pass seat(red /green wire)read positive before then after powering it up with power probe3 it now reads grounded and then car wont start.cranks but wont start.help please do i need to replace vehicle speed sensor that i spliced into or worse replace a computer? local shop did code test and lots of codes could not clear they said.and didnt know how much or how long to repair and at 80 bucks an hour i decided to research it myself. is my car ruined im very scared!!
i installed a pioneer N3 gps car stereo and spliced wrong wire for the vss on 1997 Mercedes-Benz E420

Your going to need a professional to diagnose and $80/hr is not bad!

i hot wire my speed sensor to the battery and whala the car runs and drives pretty well. except it jurks once in a while like it wants to grab and slow my car down but it runs for now. hopefully ill replace speed sensor and that will do the trick.
