1999 Chevrolet S10 Question: I hear creaking/knocking sound from the driver side front wheel, what is it?

It creaks when I turn & back out. It knocks when going 30-45mph - and now I can feel the knock with my foot. It doesn't do this over bumps or at higher speeds. I'm worried - it feels like the wheel is going cave in under the truck.

    could be a bad frt hub bearing or worse seek a diag from your mech

    I'd prefer a shop check it out rather than a trip to a hospital! Get it checked ASAP as globalhelper stated before the 'or worse' shows up!

    I was just having this problem a month ago and cost me $500.00 to get fixed. It was scray to drive. It is the right front upper control arm.
